Play areas have an important social aspect and well designed playspaces are popular meeting places for children and families. Most play areas therefore include street furniture like seats, benches and litter bins.
These products are often bought for other urban areas by Russell Play's existing client base and it was therefore a logical step for the company to introduce its own street furniture range: Street Collective.

The Istuu picnic bench has a timeless and friendly design. The 4 seater bench is great on its own but can also be used in combination with the Istuu Picnic table. The construction is very solid with 10mm thick hot dip galvanised and powder coated steel legs and a 2mm thick reinforced, galvanised and powder coated seat. The top of the seat has a slight curve to let the rain run off.
The Istuu street furniture range consists of various smart modules that can be used to build benches, seats, planters and bins of different sizes. The products are available in a great variety of attractive colour combinations.
The timber version of the Istuu range features Accoya, a sustainable wood. Accoya is a fast growing softwood that has been treated in such a way that it takes on the properties of a hardwood. It achieved the Cradle to Cradle Gold certification.
The Sessio seat has a very elegant design and adds great style to parks and streets. The construction is solid with 6mm thick curved, polished stainless steel legs and metal supports below the Accoya timber slats.
